I need to accept the ever growing list of projects I have acquired needs to be trimmed.
So let's begin, craigslist find originally out of the NC mountains in the shape of a CKI racing karts Laser Proto 1 chassis with a CB250 engine/trans bolted on.
Initial purchase was low but I added a full set of new VanK wheels and Maxxis used takeoffs for a hefty sum. Its a project and generally full of backyard hackery. I got an ebay used carb and Ducati muffler for it as well. No seat, doesn't run, probably a death trap... but $300 and this piece of awesome is yours. Or make an offer, located in Athens Ohio currently.
Just so that I don't get accused of grabbing everything cool that shows up I'm going to wait until saying I'll take it.

Depends on how far down the list I go my hobbies are as eclectic as apparently Stampie's. Nissan Z31, RC crawlers, bicycles, 4x4 parts...

This past weekend my wife, out of nowhere, was like "Someday we should build a go kart or something as a family."
I think this is not quite what she had in mind for our 4 year old.
I normally fly to our shop in Ohio, or I would figure out how to pick this up.
Athens, Ohio- just 90 minutes from my house. Need to look away.

My oldest was 4 when I picked it up. Honestly you could grab an "American" racing kart motor mount and throw a Predator on there of your choice for a more palletable setup. Not to be an enabler.. I may be biased.
But 250cc shifter cart...

I think if you read the rules from the right angle this is SCCA KM legal. IIRC a 250cc 4 stroke is a legal motor. I believe you would have to add front brakes.
