+442 bare locost chassis (built by member here) with miata rear subframe. Have front control arm kit(unbuilt in box). 1982 honda 650 donor bike - was going to put bike engine where passenger would go. Bike is a turd but it cranks over and was running a couple months ago, has good battery and Ohio salvage title. $300 for everything.
abandoning this plan because something i lust after has been dangled in front of me.

I’ll try my best, it’s kinda buried in my harbor freight “garage”

The XS series was Yamaha. Is the bike maybe a CB or CX?
Yes it’s a cb. I get them mixed up because I have a 1982 xv920 yamaha too. Which is a bit of a basket case but can be had for $300 as well. That one has a clear title.

No worries. I was really hoping it was an XS650.
The Yamaha wouldn't happen to be an XV920R, would it?
Nope it’s a shaft drive 920J
Any way it could sit in your harbor freight garage until spring when I pull my truck out?
In reply to AxeHealey :
My truck is always out, i’ll deliver if you come look at it and say yes
OK awesome - assuming that's you who just emailed me? If so I'll reply there to find a time.
Yes that was me i’ll shoot you my number
Um... I did not need to see this.
Pitchers would be appreciated if only for the entertainment value.

Indeed. I really shouldn't be looking at cars with no roof.
I think the fact it has no roof is the least of your worries :-)

Space. Covered space is my biggest limiting factor. Then time. Otherwise an empty frame is like a blank canvas... So many possibilities.

I've seen it. It's small and light enough to be hung from the ceiling. Would make a great living room art piece until you get started on it. You've been married less than a year right? I'm sure she'll agree.

I want in line behind axe.
Sounds like a done deal with axehealey because he’s very local and was very serious immediately and it can go away very fast. Like everything i’m doing right now it’s more about clearing space than getting money. Money for projects is just a pleasant byproduct of clearing big items out.
If you need a fall back I'm only 25 minutes away and will take it off your hands sight unseen.
Yep, done deal from where I'm sitting. Cleared space tonight in the garage for the bike. The plan is definitely to hang the Locost from the ceiling, glad others are the same type of crazy as I am.

Usually after a year of marriage your looking to pick up your hobbies again. Of course, today with all that fornicating going on a honeymoon means less than it did when I was a kid.
Still need pics so we all know what we missed out on..

I’ll put up some later in the week when i stick it on the trailer with the bike
