Not for me but the others will want to know the location.

Still not for me but damn it man that's too close to me.
Dang aren't these LSD?
And I know they come with the spec v QR25 or whatever but do they also bolt to other Nissan motors? Like fwd VQ maybe??
In reply to Robbie (Forum Supporter) :
I definitely know that this trans came from a spec V. I think they also bolt up to a VQ however I can’t confirm that. I also believe that they were torsen diffs however can’t positively confirm that either. I will try to look in through the speed sensor hole to see what I can tell.
Delivery possible to Jax Fl morning of Friday August 12th. Junkyarding in the morning, Dr. appointment in the afternoon.
In reply to madmrak351 :
What yard are you going to?
In reply to Stampie :
Most likely start at Ace.
According the the internet the torsen does not have a pin for spider gears running through the center. Make perfect sense. Quick check look through the axle holes.
In reply to madmrak351 :
When it gets closer let me know. There's a C3 that's not out there yet so might go there to get some stuff.
In reply to Robbie (Forum Supporter) :
Definitely a torsen diff. From what I have seen researching the front case needs to be swapped with one from a VQ manual in order to fit that motor. Hope that helps.
SER Spec Vs had 6 speeds and Torsens. 5 speeds were not all LSD.
In reply to GeddesB :
Thanks. Know anything about what is needed to bolt one up to a VQ series V6?
In reply to Stampie :
Looked at ace’s inventory yesterday, the C3 was not listed as out. Neither was an S14 that was in the holding pen when I was there nearly a month ago. Sometimes I think their inventory list is not always updated promptly. We (my 2 adult sons and I) are still going tomorrow. Likely arrive around 9:30 to 10:00. I will try to keep an eye out for the 78 Vette. Will PM you my phone number.
In reply to madmrak351 :
Yeah they really are bad at that. I've made them refund my entrance fee when the car I went for wasn't there. I've also had to go row by row to find the vehicle they said wasn't out actually is.
In reply to madmrak351 :
I just sent you a message - it should go through to your email. Let me know if you don't get it.

Got your message. My phone is not doing email right now, so everything is relayed through my wife. She sent you a reply with my phone number. You may call or text both are fine. I will accept your offer. Yours is the CBR600 powered Datsun correct? That is s cool combination.
