Okay guys, I chickened out on using this super-trick flywheel/clutch combo on my street toy build. :(
Have not found the maker but it appears to be a very high quality piece in excellent condition.
Looking at much cheaper looking current offerings they start at around $1,500.00
Better quality versions seem to be about $2,200.00 and up.
Someone here should be able to help identify this one?
It came from an unfinished race car from the LA area that apparently was started on a fairly long time ago.
8.5 Lb. flywheel and 9 Lb. 7-1/2 OD dia. steel clutch insert, 8-3/8 clutch cover assembly.
This setup will let your engine rev up quick!
Should be great for Auto-X, Road Racing, and Hill-Climb cars.
This price may barely cover my cost for an inferior but more street-able setup.
