Yep, Barely Functional Racing needs wheels for a Challenge car. 15" x 8" They will bolt up to Miata hubs, so 4x100mm is preferred (or else, we'll need adapters).
Central or Southern Indiana or GRM relay express, because shipping and challenge budget.
What ya got?
What's the plan? Why 8" rather than more common 7"? Are you stuck with 15s, because I find 17" far more readily at Challenge pricing. What are you thinking for budget? I watch Marketplace everyday and can keep an eye out for stuff in Michigan, Ohio and northern Indiana for you.
Example: 17"x7.5", 4x100......$100......Marketplace - Wheels for sale | Facebook

Got a set of ND Miata wheels (17x7 +45 offset) without rubber for free. Florida
In reply to DeadSkunk (Warren) :
Why 15x8 ?
Because we want to run GTN class at the Challenge. Which means a 225 wide tire. I'm under the impression that the optimal rim width for that tire is 8" wide.
In reply to Indy - Guy :
They work nice on 9's also
Beggars can't be choosers! That's just our ideal size with the right look. Anything bigger than 15s look a little off on a p1800.
For performance, see if you can find 15x9s for 225/45-15s.
In reply to garaithon :
Seventeen inch wheels....and, if you're real budget is a factor versus the official Challenge budget, Tire Rack has 215/45/17 Bridgestone RE71RS leftovers for $125 each right now
In reply to Mr_Asa :
That's a generous offer. Any idea on the width of those ?

Are those 17's ?
I thought he was running 16's.

Should be 7" or thereabouts, came with 205/45r17s from the factory.
In reply to Mr_Asa :
I would like the 17" miata rims if not spoken for.

In reply to Indy - Guy :
Yep, my bad, Nohome's wheels are 16s. I mixed them up with a very similar looking 17" model.

They're 17x7, 45mm offset, and fairly light, too. I have a couple of sets of them if there's anything else you want to see a picture of. Weight is just under 18 pounds IIRC.
In reply to Mr_ASA & DeadSkunk (Warren) :
Let me consult with the rest of the team and get back to you guys.
