Seems the later MM's have larger 8" front brakes.
Simplest upgrade for my 86 YO Mom to drive the '61 convertible.
I think all I need are the backing plates and drums since I would use new shoes and the other hardware is the same. Current brake drums appear to be out of round so a good time to upgrade.
Shoot me a price and location for origin shipping.
If it interchanges with a bugeye, I have a whole car drum setup I could part with.
That said it's a honking heavy box and I'm near DC.
I believe Bugeye are the same 7" I have now.
Spridget disc conversion is possible but expensive and apparently not that impressive.
8" drums work as well and do not require modifying the MC.
