Working on the wrx, noticed the front subframe is gone under the left lca. Need a clean one, anybody have one? Apparently it was a recall at some point but at 17 years old it’s not getting fixed at the dealer.

The subframe wasn't recalled, the "hoop" was. (The bit that reinforces the subframe to the radiator support) Unless you mean the hoop.
Good luck finding a used one, but new ones may still be available for very cheap.
It is the hoop. Apparently this was a usdm addition due to crash testing and the jdm yo! cars didn’t even get it. So being a relatively unnecessary part i shall let it continue rusting. Aside of the one little guy behind the passenger back wheel it’s the only real rust on the car
After you get your xjr you won't be worried about this part anymore!
