Hello All,
I am helping with a build located in CT. The next step is to ad sway bars. The car is a 1971 vega, but we think we might be able to make the rear bar from an A-body work if we can't find a vega bar. This is a low budget project, let me know if you have something that might work.
Thanks

You want the front and rear sway bar(s) that came on the Vega GT, you might want to consider the stock Vega torque arm as well. completely eliminates any rear end tramp/bounce/movement/axle wrap. We have the GT sway bar, torque arm and Panhard bar in our '73 along with the '76 7.5 rear end. With the 327/Saginaw conversion, they all work like a dream ! !
We're locate on the upper Cape (Massachusetts) if you ever want to stop by and look at our Vega, we've done a TON to it to improve handling/braking/performance, just now getting around to paint.
Awesome, I've been following your thread. Would love to meet up if it works out some time. We are running an s10 rear end with the 4 link brackets transferred over and extended. Need to get some sway bars on it before optimizing the suspension any further.
Have a friend in Brockton, he strips out a lot of Vegas for parts, bought one last year that we found for him in the local junk yard. I'll hit him up and see of he might have a pair of GT sway bars. Would also seriously recommend the Panhard bar from the later Vegas if you don't already have one in the car.
Do you have his contact information? I'd like to message him as well.

I'll get it for you, got everything in my Vega folder somewhere, OK?
In reply to Shavarsh :
This is the guy in Brockton, MA that you might want to contact for parts. He has a bunch if Vegas and very often strips Vegas down for parts and pieces to sell. Tell him that Bruce and Tommy from the Cape sent you, the guys with the 327 Kammback.
