I'm looking for a set of 205 or 225 wide 15" tires for the rally car to run a hillclimb event or two on before I commit to a fresh set.  R888/Rival/Azenis and similar are all options, stickier is better but they need to have actual treads on them (so R7s or similar won't work).  Anybody have anything?  Can pay cash or trade various parts or other wheels and tires.

I have a set of four brand new Hoosier H20's.  225/45/15.  They were mounted up as wets but never used.  I'm over in Pittsburgh.  If you can pick them up you can have all four for $200.  Call or text me at 412-974-5695.  I have pics I can text you.

These are the tires  https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Hoosier&tireModel=Radial%20Wet%20H2O&partnum=245HR5H2O

Thanks

Paul

If anybody sees this and is headed east from Pittsburgh soon let me know, I would happily throw some gas money at somebody to get Paul's tires a little closer to home- not sure I can spare the time to go get them.

I'd be interested in the wets if no one else wants them :)  Can you ship?

You might find a miata group on Facebook since most are running 200 TWs in those sizes (I just bought some 225s for my miata, but I have 16 in wheels). Federal tires are super cheap (but only 85% of the total grip as a Rival or an RE-71r), probably less than 350 shipped to your door for 205/50r 15s. PM me

I have 4 Nexen SUR4G in 225/15 with a fair amount of tread left.  One has a puncture from animal/roadkill bone and could maybe be patched or maybe not.  It's off the wheel and you're welcome to poke it and see what you think.  Cover dismounting the rest, and they're yours.  I ended up going through tires slower than expected this season so these are going to get old and hard before I ever use them in 2021 or 2022 or who knows.

Also you'd better set a lot of records in RALFI assuming that's your hillclimb class.  It's not exactly well subscribed or full of hotshoes.

You'll need to log in to post.
