Trying to get a new or rebuilt rack for our E90 M3 by early June. Tried to get a brand new one back in March but they're out of stock everywhere and ETAs keep getting pushed back (now late June). Rack Doctor's e-store seems to be down and recent reviews suggest they've gone downhill. Some vendors (e.g. FCP Euro, ECS, Bimmerworld) list remans, but they're all either out of stock or >$3k.
Anyone have any leads?

I ended up buying a used one through ebay from a guy that only parts M cars. Havent installed it yet, so cant tell you whether I am happy or not, but its an option.

I'm leery of used parts for sensitive things like an M steering rack, just because there's no way to know their provenance. Sounds like you trust this guy, though?

I don't lol. I just needed a rack for my e46 M3 and thought I give it a shot. Worst case I use it as a core for a rebuilt one from FCP Euro.
This is the guy I bought it from, but again, I dont know him and have not installed it. He shipped it extremely fast though.
