I just recently transformed my family's garage into a multi-purpose space. I set up an area in a spare spot in the garage for working on cars, small DIY projects, and even put in a table for the kids to draw and play. The garage is neat, but the light is dim.
My garage originally only had one traditional fluorescent tube, which was not bright enough and the light was yellowish. So I always had to carry a flashlight when working on the car, and the kids had to rely on natural light during the day to paint. So I chose a tri-proof light for an environment like the garage. It is very bright and has an even light. Also paired it with an LED panel light mounted above the workbench where the kids can draw. I'm very happy with this garage remodel, but am still wondering if there are better options out there, such as smart dimming and fixtures that change the angle of light.

What kind of lighting do you use in your garage? Are there any particular fixtures that you recommend? Are triple-proof lights and panel lights the best choice, or is there a cooler solution?

Yes, it's basically finished, with a few wires left to hide. This looks a lot like the light I use in my bedroom, I can shoot it for you when I get home

Amazon Barrina led lights are a common recommendation around here. I love them. They're not the prettiest fixture, but they work well.
