I was on Summit looking for brake fittings and they have some products from The Stop Shop. I went to that site for additional info and wow. They have a lot of cool adapters, as well as custom brake line sections. I know others have purchased from their fleabay store, but the actual website looks really good.

Custom Lines

Those custom lines are in 3/16"  or 1/4" and can have mismatched end fittings (everything is inverted double flare, but many thread options), your choice of copper-nickel or stainless, and custom length, by the inch, from 4" ($8) to 132" ($20).

They also have pre-bent sets for various makes and models.

I no longer even need to consider a fancy tool, if approximately $10 gives me the material, size, length, and fittings I need. I was about to say that I don't know and don't care about the cost of shipping, but how lazy is that? A single 36" 3/16" with my choice of ends is $10 and free shipping (USPS). That is cheaper than the cookie cutter options at the FLA.

I have not placed an order, but I will and will report back.

That is a great idea.

The only issue I have is that the way I make a brake line, I really have no idea how long it is going to be if it were measured in a straight line. I start on one end, fit it to the curves and contours, and cut it to fit where it lands on the other end of the journey.

For that i tape some tig rod together and make a dummy line. Helps me lay out the bends too.
