I just bought an adapter off Amazon to use my M18 packs in DeWalt XRP tools. I can finally use my beloved old 1/2" hammer drill again! Honestly better than the FUEL M18 in every way, but mostly the chuck, which is kind of the point of a drill. (possible pun?)
I was seriously considering a DIY version of the adapter, but I'll be damned if Amazon's search engine didn't know exactly what I was after and cut me a deal on it that made it not worth my time to try.
