I damaged what appears to be a fiberglass valve cover (why can't they just use steel or aluminum) and am looking to try and repair it before I drop a few hondos on a replacement. I'm saying fiberglass as there are fibers. Would an industrial strength epoxy beca better option?
Anyone?

I can try. However, I'm looking to see if there is a good way to repair a composite that lives around heat and petrochemicals
Some where molded into the inside of the cover there should be a material code. I'm guessing PA6 GF50 or PA6 GF10 M20 in this application. That'll inform your repair options.
