It's used to connect the control handle for my log splitter. Takes two sets and I'm missing one. Looks like a chain link but it's not ( I don't think it is).

Sure looks like part of a chain link. Maybe a pic with a scale reference, a pic of the other one in place and the make and/or model of the log splitter?

Take the pieces you have to tractor supply and they probably have a master link just like it in the tractor section

Correct, it's just an old school chain master link.

Tractor supply calls them roller chain links and has 10 or so sizes in stock.
