I have a new (to me) welder that needs a little love. It's an LTec (ESAB) Migmaster 250 with euro style connection. The liner in the gun that came with it is no good and I can't get wire to feed all the way through.

The way I see it, my options are to replace the liner or buy a new mig gun.

I've never replaced a liner, but could enlist help from my body guys.

A replacement gun is appealing because I could then replace the liner in the current gun with a .040-.045 unit and have two different guns set up.

If I buy a replacement, what brands should I look for or avoid? I've heard a lot of good about YESWELDER, and they offer a 250A gun for $110, which is a happy price point for me.

Will be doing primarily autobody work, both structural and sheetmetal.

Changing a liner is easy - here's the demo for my students:

That was the most helpful video I've seen for that. Thank you!

Just pull yours out, and take it to a welding supply store to match it up.
