Anybody else get Forza4 yet?

Well, I was down to about 40 cars left to buy in the game, but now with the new car pack coming out on Tuesday...

LOL. I just picked FM4 back up since MW3 has met burnout (that and the serious lag issues "I know I pulled the trigger and shot that guy, how did he reappear and kill me? berkeley this game!!")

I just jumped ship from my other club and awaiting someone to approve me for the hoonage of tgrm

My F class Pinto is a rocket ship. Not too far off the no. 1 time at Infineon NASCAR circuit. A little more tuning should get it closer.

Yea, those Pintos are pretty impressive. I was trying to beat Dexter's time with an Impala, but had to switch to the trusty blue oval.

Guess we need to have a class F race.

So one of the guys from my new job said he played Forza, so i gave him my GamerTag. He invited me to a game, and i found that he prefers S, R3, R2 class cars, even though he struggles to even control them, while i like C,B, and A classes. So he had us race on every track i hate, doing drifting, drag racing, and those kind of races i dislike. After about 40 minutes i just left the game. Yuk.

I was all day Monday after working some outages and updates for work.

I'm trying to beat some of those clean godlike times on Fuji in the Monster SX4 . . .

The D/E/F cars are far more fun then the expensive overpowered things, especially with nearly all the control aids off. The drag strips are meh. Drifting never tried it, even though I seem to do a LOT of it.

My only big complaint is actual control. I use the controller and even with the progressive nature of the triggers, they are light switches still, especially the brakes. What is with the huge throttle induced oversteer and big white smoky burnouts while driving a 118hp Miata?

I picked up the DLC last night, but might be a few weeks till I can play with the new cars. In fact I havent even played with the December DLC yet so I have a lot of cars to try out.

Some home renovations building our media room/living room mean the MS wheel is packed up for a few weeks, and I also have to build a new cockpit that isnt such an eyesore to keep the wife happy.

But we agreed a new 60" TV for the media room would be an apropriate valentines day gift for the both of us. I even have permission to hook the xbox up to it.

new car pack...more money.....argghhh. Pinto and Impala SS should make it worth it. This game is starting to become like iRacing with all the add-ons you have to pay for.

Are you talking about the new rivals event? If so, you're not gonna like me...

I have three days in a row off of work (today being the third) and so i've been spending a ton of time with Forza. Fine-tuning my cars i've had for a while, buying more cars to fill my A-class garage, making cars look more like racecars with decals and pain schemes. Either way it's been a ton of fun, minus the pathetic pay check i'm sure to get next Friday.

I've sworn off DLC on all games after the MW2 "camp pack" ruined that game for me a few years ago.

I carried that through Black Ops, and into MW3, and now Forza 4. I haven't bought a single DLC add-on and I am just as happy as I ever was with any of those games. Absolutely no regrets.

man at least with BF3 if you bought the special edition for no extra charge you got the DLC for free, only problem was it was 2gigs worth of dlc at once. The new MW3 isn't that fun

for FM4 you can get the "season pass" for like $30, and you get all the DLC packs. Cheaper than buying them individually. Whether or not its worth it is up to you.

I didnt get all the DLC from FM3, but I still likely spent more than $30 on the DLC that I did get. So I got the season pass for FM4. I do like all the DLC packs so far.

I'm still pissed that us VIP LCE people don't get the Season Pass.

I haven't played Forza in over a month.

Has anyone else been wishing that under the bodykit section, there was a WideBody option so you could make cars look like the JGTC racers and whatnot?

hmm? Not true unless something has changed.

The Season Pass is only good for the first six DLC packs, expires April 2012 last I read, at one per month.

A good value? Maybe to some. I would've preferred it to be any six DLC packs, and not just the first six. So far, I feel great about not buying it, because the first two were "meh" for me. The third has the Pikes Peak zook and the Raptor, both of which I'm interested in, but not $30 worth of interest.

Now when they offer a pack with the non-M E30, we'll see...

Seriously, right? I already paid out the wazoo for essentially the first DLC pack and a whole 10 other cars (5 of which are just paint jobs), and I'm supposed to be some sort of "VIP", but they haven't given us squat in exclusive content yet.
