Chances are, you'll just have to wait til July, when they release all the DLC for half price...
The Hyundai Veloster Car Pack is up on the Marketplace for free. It's the Turbo Veloster, and the Rhys Millen awd Veloster (rally-cross???).
Traded Call of Duty (xmas gift) for Forza yesterday. Once I finally figured out how to turn the damned assists off, it was REALLY hard to make myself go to bed last night.
Got it as a Christmas gift over New Year's... I haven't even had the time to rip open the shrinkwrap.

Gimme a few days to stop sucking. I "tuned" the Fit last night to the point where it's undriveable.
The fastest way to learn in this game is to play real people, save the replays, and watch how they drive. Also, tou can learn a lot about what mods work well with others, and learn chassis tuning. I give out a lot of info to the GRM guys I race with.
I'll be on tomorrow afternoon. Tonight is a birthday. Otherwise I'll be on at 8 central for an hour only. (bedtime at 9, up at 5)
I use an android app to base tune.

You can view peoples rival races. View the leader board, select a name, view replay.

I just race people on the rivals setting and see what they are doing and then eventually try to stay ahead of them the WHOLE way......
Hoppers? WTF is up with 'em...is it a glitch in the software or are they cars modded to do do it. Nothing like getting a top rope flying suplex outta the blue by some bozo kamikazing me from '70 up. It's hard enough avoiding the ones I can see in my mirrors or looking out the back window.
I chased two guys around the 'Ring the other night...could only see one as the other one was at tree top height. He showed up on the scrolling map, that was the only way I could see him most of the time. Another one was just a roof sticking up out of the track (Sedona).

You have no idea how happy I was to beat your D-mod attack time at Tsukuba. I'm assuming you've trounced me by now, though, hahaha.
I finally got to fire it up last night. The new tire physics definitely make a huge difference in how everything handles. I need to relearn how to drive...
It's still stupid that I can't fit anything wider than 245s on the front of a 350z, though. I've got 275s on mine in real life.
In reply to scardeal: Is that with any wheel or only with the stockers? I know that Turn 10 is somewhat restricted in what sort of mods they can do, for instance they absolutely cannot do any cross-brand motorswaps (No LS-RX7 for you!). They might be disallowed from putting any larger tires than the manufacturer recommends.

Lag will cause cars to appear in funny spots. Chances are if they appear that way to you, you appear that way to them.

I'll take care of trouncing you tonight. Muah HA HA HA.
In reply to N Sperlo: Have you figured out how to make the Dart turn? That seems to be the ticket, based on the top 300+ times for that event.
I haven't played in a while. Had some breath problems to check up on. All is good and I will probably be back on this afternoon. I'll check er out then.

That is with both stock and enkei aftermarket wheels. I checked both.

yes, please share the secret to getting that nose heavy pig to turn! (it really needs a small block, that Hemi is cool but only in a straight line....)
In reply to 64chrysler300:
Probably camber out / angle out the front, camber in / angle in the rear, and heavy on the brakes. Should keep you turning, but easily recoverable. itink.

Well, for the event in question, you first have to motorswap it to the Viper Competition Coupe's V10 to get it to drop some PI points (which I have NO IDEA why the Viper engine drops it from a class C to a class D - it makes more power, more rpm, and is lighter; I can only assume it's a bug... or an easter egg).
After that, the usual weight-reduction/tires/suspension dance.
You'll need to log in to post.
