The computer drops the PI cause you're still stuck with the stock gearbox. But, while that means the top end doesn't really change, it does get to the top of 4th gear quicker. They are supposed to be fixing it...

Had a great time running with a few guys on my friends list last night. Only six of us, but good racing, and even better stories. The stories are the biggest reason you should be racing online with other GRM'ers!

(it really needs a small block, that Hemi is cool but only in a straight line....)Well, for the event in question, you first have to motorswap it to the Viper Competition Coupe's V10 to get it to drop some PI points (which I have NO IDEA why the Viper engine drops it from a class C to a class D - it makes more power, more rpm, and is lighter; I can only assume it's a bug... or an easter egg). After that, the usual weight-reduction/tires/suspension dance.
Thanks...Viper engine? Ugh! hate the sound of that frakin delivery truck engine. I'd almost rather listen to fingernails on a chalkboard . Why O why can't I get the same small block 340 in a Dart as can be found in the Barracuda? I'll give it a try with the sound turned down...

Sent you a friend request...maybe I can get on the same time as you guys some night LOL!
Logged a bunch of time in this last night. Still getting the tune right. Still getting the driver tuned right too LOL!
I wanted to get on last night, but after driving to Daytona Saturday, then Gainesville Sunday morning, and then back home before the 24 was over, I was wiped out.

LOL! yeah, well going from 140+ to naught for a hairpin and getting pounded by some tool that can't find the brake pedal is why I put that there I guess the "do you?" didn't show up well in the photo . It's not a popular car to drive.....definatly not a glitch car (got tired of getting kicked just for showing up in one, even though it wasn't glitched) most have no idea what it is or think it's a Mustang . It corners good (I'm working on the great part)....throttle steering helps. I really need to get a wheel though.
Unless you get something to set that wheel up properly on, you'll be faster with the controller. I had to go back to the controller because I'm not fast with the wheel clamped to the coffee table and the pedals lying on the floor.
shameless thread promotion...for the greater good!

Part of my problem is I have arthritis in my hands....using a controller for a long period of time really starts to hurt! Especially my left thumb (steering) and both index fingers (gas & brakes) + I have clinodactily in both hands (crooked/bent fingers, so I have to hold the controller at a funny angle so things line up).
I really need a steering wheel!
I've played basketball for 35 years. Every finger I have has at least been jammed at least once, so I feel your pain, so to speak. But the pain in my back from having to sit up on the couch to use my steering wheel is far worse. As soon as I can get a setup for my wheel, I'll switch to that for sure!

Some cars, built certain ways, are more than the sum of their parts. In some cases, much more.

Dodge Darts, Super Bee's, some Hondas with rear wheel drive conversions etc...
I have two Darts, neither is glitched but both usually get me kicked if I even show up in a lobby with one. Even though I'm generally much slower than everybody else (at the odd time I get to run one)

Oh man yes!!
This is a good DLC!!!
Hey all....
Can some one add me to the team?: ColdNose71
So I have raced some online.... it seems rough...
I feel I am decent... I race clean and on the hard setting (trac and stability off) and seem to win 85% of the time (on disk) can I hit the bottom rung online?
Welcome to the asylum BrokenBrakes. Yeah, it gets pretty rough on line at times....I usually fall to the rear when I sense (or hear) the knuckleheads trash talking. There's usually a big wreck, then I pick my way through the carnage and get as far ahead as possible before the careening mess catches me and I get wrecked. Then I just race the timer. I groups like that, there's little point in trying to pass any of 'em, they'll just crash ya and laugh about it. I've only met up with one GRM'r in a private race, that was cool, and clean.
Okay, it's about time people started using the best part of this game. So tonight, I'll be hosting a room from 8:30pm EST. F class to B class racing for fun.

Ooh, 5:30 for us west coasters...I'll try to get on but there may be a few kid noises in the back ground! (okay, a LOT of kid noises so I may have to mute the Kinects)
You'll need to log in to post.
