That is really cool.
I put up another group of cars. They are slower than the GTE group. Your welcome Pro!!! :-). Power to weight makes them about the same but there are different. The big thing is race car versus track car.
Oh and there is a BMW for sauce.
Thanks
I think TDT is the Alto again, so I should satisfy that slow-car itch tonight :)

I've got a triple-monitor question to which maybe someone might know the answer. Right now, I've got 3 23"(ish) monitors and I'm using the Nvidia control panel to make a single surround display with a resolution of 57600x1080. One of those monitors is actually my work monitor and I kind of need it. I could go and buy another 23" monitor and swap out like-for-like, but I could also replace my center monitor with a 27" or larger for not much more money. I don't really want to buy three monitors, though, so I'm wondering what would happen if I had a 27" center monitor and two 23" wing monitors on either side. Assume monitor arms so I could adjust them appropriately. Anybody else using different monitor sizes and able to get that to work okay?
Assuming you are running them all at the same resolution (e.g. 1080 or 4k which I am pretty sure you will need to), you will get a slightly larger view in the bigger monitor. Something in the center monitor will be physically bigger on that screen so if something goes from the side to front, it will jump slightly in size.
How distracting that will be while driving I don't know, but with the interior / hood of the car is fixed, so that should not be a concern. I suspect it would be minor if you align them by center, making the biggest offsets at the very top and bottom of the monitor, which you are likely not to be paying attention to in a driving game.
You can probably simulate it a bit by adjusting the monitor zoom size (in the monitor controls) down on the outside monitors.
A 27" monitor is 17% larger then a 23, so that should mean that something at the very top or bottom of the screen should be 8.5% offset, or jump a bit under 2" visually as it moves from one monitor to the next (and zero at the center of course).
BTW - I did not see Sauce in the above clip because I have one monitor... that's my excuse and I am sticking to it!
Can you get an ultrawide that matches the height of the 23"? How old are the 23" monitors/what is the model #?
Bath tubs are in the house

Hmm, as I expected, then, it sounds like if I want a larger main monitor, I'm pretty well stuck needing to upsize the other two as well. They're not that old - it's an LG of some type (how hard is it to report your model number to the video card and/or print it on the damn bezel!?) and a Samsung S24C230 . I don't really have any other use for them to be able to justify replacing them both. I guess I'll just find a cheap monitor of some sort to replace the HP I brought home from work that my daughter is using right now and leave my desktop's setup alone.
I'm probably going to miss tonight - my wife has dropped a rush project in my lap that I need to deal with.
Woah, so your triple setup was 3 different brand/model monitors? The OCD is not strong with you

In reply to ProDarwin :
Yeah, unfortunately laziness and cheapness usually wins out over my ocd. So I spent a lot of time being pissed off by things not being right yet too lazy or cheap to do anything about it....
I think we should use last nights TDT track. I think I put the TDT pack in the Google current folder last night
Watch that exit curb on T3!
Well the new server is up with a bunch of content. This is a really great version or road America.
How did you do that photo?
That is really cool!!!
The CM showroom allows you to add more cars and move them around. Pretty easy to do.
I am not sure if you can add the same model, but I suspect you can (so you can do different liveries).
The TDT guys made a Turbo version of the Alto with KERS. Its pretty damn fun. Its not like the boost or whatever the TT we raced had - it only regens under braking, so you get many uses throughout a race, but not 1/lap like we got on Autumn Ring. And you can use little bursts of it, you aren't committed to using it all at once.
I tried it and liked it but they are saying that due to nomenclature in the naming it will not work on a server.
Its fixed. Its up and running on their server right now.
How come we are not doing a 2.4 hour or 24 minutes of lemans this weekend?
I just discovered it was on tv.
Sounds like a good idea for Wednesday. I would be up for some racing tonight tho
putting some laps down tonight if anyone is around
Pro and I tested most of the cars tonight. The Mercedes is the surprise. It has no brakes but has good speed and way more grip than you think it will.
The Audis are just fun race cars. The TT is kind of a German spec Miata. The RS is about 6srconds faster but handlers similar.
the Ferraris and the Cobra are all different levels of slip angle and the the cars wanting to kill you.
a good mix of cars. I think I may look for cars that are similar to the TT and see if there is a series to be had. Really curious if the spec Miata is similar.

The hood/cowl camera position is basically where the nose of the crankshaft is though :/
Ya there was that. It just added character to it. ;-)
If you think of it upload the turbo Alto the google drive so I can add it to the server.
