Anyone buy the PC version? I am a little worried about my system running it. I have a laptop running an i7, 8gb, and a GTX 860M and a desktop with an A10, 8gb, and a GTX 570 HD. The desktop GPU is technically higher performing but it's GPU is 1.2gb vs the laptop which is 2gb.

Wait, we have PC gamers here?
(Quickly tosses pizza into basement as bait)
This looks to be all actual gameplay footage:

Looks good.

Its a fallout game running a 10 year old engine with some pretty stuff tacked on top. Was optimized for console so that should keep the specs down pretty low as well. So you should be able to play.
NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent is the minimum spec.
All I can say is it darn well better run on my dual GTX660 TI system with a i7 and 64 gig of ram or I am going to be upset.
The only real concern I have is that I don't have a 2gb video card, mine is 1.2gb. It is plenty powerful enough, just not necessarily enough RAM.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm attempting to run it on an old ass Z97 board with two Haswell's overclocked within an inch of their life. Leaning heavily on my GTX770 to pull me through. We'll see.

No idea why I waited until the last minute, but I did my preorder thing at Gamestop Friday. They did confirm the game is actually in the store already, and they're set for a Midnight release on Monday. I normally avoid scenes of chaos when possible, but I'll be there. Getting amped up, I spent the last few days in New Vegas. There's still soo much of that game I've yet to do, but I did come across the maniacal toaster. Won't spoil it for those that haven't dealt with that yet, but you'll know when you find it. So damn funny.

Sadness: I have a Tesla K40 12 GB graphics accelerator arriving from Hong Kong on Monday. It doesn't do games; just scientific computing.
I need a PS4 or Xbox One.

Where did you preorder from? I went direct to Bethesda and haven't gotten anything yet
Best buy cancelled my preorder to pick up in store citing limited stock (insert Seinfeld rant: you can TAKE the reservation...), but did offer to ship to my address.
I declined and just bought it on XBL. It's downloaded and I'm not gonna be trading it in anyway, so why not?

Way back when Grand Theft Auto V came out, Best Buy had the game locked away behind a customer service desk and the wait was excessive. Target had a display rack as soon as you walked through the main entrance. You could just walk up, grab one, and hit the register. Some of Best Buy's business decisions baffle the crap out of me.
Been playing fallout 3 again. So good. I haven't played it since probably 2010. Sniper character FTW!

Old World Blues add on maniacal toaster?

I've never come across a toaster before hellbent on watching the world burn (again), but now I want one. How hard would it be to add a voice chip to a toaster? That might be a money making idea, and would sure as hell make mornings way more fun. (T minus 27 hrs to go)

The reviews are going how I'd expect. High scores with willingness to except a certain level of glitches/wonkyness. I'm going to buy it tomorrow after work.
I still don't have a steam code! WTF Bethesda!

I ordered from Green Man Gaming. They had a 25% discount promotion a month or two ago.
Target has a decent sale, $299 for Xbox one, Fallout4 & the season pass included. Not too shabby. Don't forget they have all sorts of Fallout swag, including real life Nuka Cola!
edit: Just got done preloading through Steam...26gigs. I'm sure that's not all of it, either.
Just got an email from Bethesda saying that it is coming USPS and will be here in 1 to 3 days. E36 M3!

1-3 Days? You might be waiting for a game you could have walked into a store and purchased, unless you went Pip-boy version...
