Forza 6

Question for those who have played both GT6 and Forza 6 - is it worth getting Forza 6?

I don't know that you'll find anyone here who has both, but I can definitely tell you FM6 is worth getting.

That's good to hear. I did find out that my old Fanatec wheel isn't compatible with the Xbox One, so I guess I'll stick with GT6 and iRacing for the time being.

I have GT6, but I do prefer Forza 6.

Any clues as to what it fixes?

Seems kinda pointless to me though, Forza basically throws credits at you.

EDIT: Never mind, the link's dead. Apparently there was some way to buy cars without getting charged for them, it looks like they've done away with that in the patch and wiped the leaderboards for folks who were cutting corners at Lime Rock.

I think the idea was to buy a car, and as it's saving to your garage, you need to quit out to the Xbox Dashboard (can't recall if you also need to "Force Quit" the game as well). After you restart the game, the car will be in your garage, and it won't deduct any credits for the purchase.

Like Tactical Penguin mentioned, Forza already gives you tons of credits, especially if you cash in your rewards here: https://rewards.forzamotorsport.net/en-US/redeem. I think they pay out rewards every week or two. I also don't like the idea of quitting a game while it's saving - seems like a recipe for a corrupt game file.

Agreed. If it was an easy exploit I may have been tempted. Forza is making it rain credits pretty much so I'm not real concerned.

My friends over at the GTXForum are having a quick series tonight. Simple builds with only tire pressures being adjustable.

My favorite exploit was one that was never fixed was on FM4.....I claimed devine intervention when I used a guy's own groups votes against him in "vote to kick" queries from online lobbies.

So long as I wasn't the votee, I could change the kickee to anyone else in the lobby. LoL

Just doing a little 300 miler at Daytona today...

Did the Catalunya 100 miler today in the Viper.

I did the monster LeMans night race in a 908 Peugeot over the weekend.... 30 something laps in the dark is sketchy.

I ran the Le Mans 250 on Thursday, then went to Mid-Ohio and ran an 8+8 enduro on the weekend, came back home and ran the Road Atlanta 100 on Monday.

Getting ready to do the Sebring 300 now. It's the only Showcase event I have left to do.

So, evidently you can still post high leaderboard times with handling cars around power tracks if you drive the wheels off of them......
