RE: TT event - I know there's no Top Gear test track, how about "Big Star, Small Car" with a Suzuki SX4 on the most equivalent course we can find?

You need to change the Share restrictions on that doc.
Just verified my copy of GT6 is sitting on the counter at DiscTraders.
ANNNND it's date night.
Question:
Is there any reason I should keep my copy of GT5 or should I trade it in?
In reply to John Brown: I have both. Although it pained me to give away my complete garage in GT5 for my relatively empty one in GT6, I gave GT5 away to my neighbor because I'm pretty sure I'll never use it. I don't plan to jump back and forth just because there is a difference in what you can get away with in GT5 vs. GT6. I have a lot of bad habits from GT5 I'm trying to get away from (curb hopping, corner cutting, re-arranging the landscaping to pass, etc.) that are punished fairly harshly in GT6. Don't think I'd want to try to work on both at the same time. Its fairly subtle, but even the same cars behave differently between versions. If they'll give you a few bucks for it unload it or do what I did, give it away to a "non car guy" and see what happens.
Between $9.00-15.00, BUT IT WAS A CHRISTMAS GIFT, so I have a net gain. The used GT6 is $39.95 and I already have $25.00 credit. Win either way.
Keep it for retro gaming, and buy GT6 for cheap, or trade in the game that you probably won't use again and get GT6 even cheaper. It's hard to lose there.
I just now got my steering controller setup dialed in to where it's useable in the new place.
Played GT5 today and loved it, but now I have the quandary of whether I want to keep playing solo on GT5 and get halfway decent at driving before I get GT6 to play with you guys, or go ahead and trade GT5 for a used GT6 and get good on the new stuff and play with you guys sooner...?
Any advice?
Edit: wow its still $55 used from gamestop, it'll probably be a while before I can justify spending that much, and by then the price will hopefully go down about 15-20 bucks..
Cory: It was $39.95 at Disc Traders, see if there is a smaller game joint around. I waited three weeks to get a copy.
I love the "license test leaderboard" I am much happier that I am using a controller and hovering mid pack. That gives my a chance to be in the area when Dean needs to run me off the track

Hay
I am keeping my GT5 for now. I had a lot of good tunes in it. Some were gift cars that were pre set up when I first joined the GRM GT series that were hugely helpful in both earning money and being competitive. The biggest was the Subi that I was given. I still use its tune as a base line for most AWD cars and as a reference as to how I want an AWD car in the game to drive.

The great part was you were driving like a perfect hoontleman, it was every random car draw I got gave my a Driftorito XL++ and seemed to be in everyones way!
Here is the new track video. It shows it as a Track Maker track, that seems unlikely, but who knows. If it is a Track Maker track, they REALLY stepped up on the scenery (which I really don't care about, I would much rather have more control of the track layout then what pretty things lay beside it)

Am I the only one that when I saw this was thinking. "How can I get my car up in to the wind turbine next to the track?"
Someone in the comments pointed out the weird flag gates for checkpoints, something that existed in GT5's course maker, so it might be legit. Either way i'm excited. If that is a 35km long track, does that mean we could make some epic-ly long courses? That would be awesome.
Hope it comes soon. I wonder if there's a way to add custom backgrounds... I couldn't imagine those buildings/mountains/trees/gaurd rails and everything being automatic.
