Yeah, that was more based on when the drops kick in. We really don't want the 2nd drop to kick in at 5 for a 6 lap series. It can create a big swing in what the standings are. E.g. in this series Sauce took a huge jump with the 2nd drop calculated since he missed two races, and has won every other one!
I think Dean's idea is to make the points lead more of a sharp point. Depending on how it works out, it may be very difficult for someone in the points lead to finish in the top in the next race. This of course does not mean they will drop massively in the standings, but might make for a bit of a back and forth on who wins. Maybe a bit like the end of a good football game where the teams are trying to be the last one with the ball. Might make for some interesting strategies.

Oh, and I was going to mention that I did swap 914's finish order (featured in video) for that race. It did not change the points though since Gunner finished ahead of him in the first race, so Gunner get the advantage in a tie.
