We could so some sort of Euro Sedan series that would exclude BMW's
Would this technically be a wagon?
We could do a 4 door 4WD series.. .. with a set PP or KG/hp and tuning or a limited tuning of some sort.
In reply to dean1484:
Do some testing on your beloved Opel and see what PP it would need to run to work with the MB, BMW, and Audi in a German Touring Car series. Fuel and tire wear would be important as well.
The Hot August Nights huge classic car event is here this week. Off to check it out...
I need to do that Argo I am just short on time these days. I have literately been arriving and driving at the races this season. No practice at all and it shows in my finishing positions.

I am going to purchas one of these tonight and give it a test run. I am thinking we need a station wagon type race of some sort. I have to see how many cars we could actually get and what the performance spread would be. I am thinking something similar to the hot hatch series just with wagons. I dont think we could get the Audi wagon down in PP enough to work but there are other 5 door car's out there in the game I jsut need to go get them all and test. I also think that they are all relitivly cheep. Maybe use the volvo to set the bar and see what can race with it.
Air / Argo (everyone really).
I want to do the drivers choice again. But we need to come up with a set of rules. In particular $$$$$ that can be spent and ????
How about a max tune "van" race. There are several boxy type delivery van things in the game that would make for a fun one off event.

This kind of depends whomever has the least amount of money. Is it Keith? Is $200,000 a week too much (rollover extra as before). That would mean a $2,000,000 entry fee for the season (probably a bit less). Of course you do it in $200,000 a week installments.
I am all for a driver choice. With the inexplicable disappearance of the shuffle races, it's the closest we can get.
Seems like Ruf's, some sort of tire/fuel series (GTR, Miata), and Japanese tuner cars are still good options. If we do a tire/fuel series, that will almost certainly be the only series for that day.
Super Van is interesting. I had thought of a max tune Odyssey series. Theoretically that would be crazy drafts, but I am not sure the game takes that into account.
Thoughts on what to test for Sunday?
I have saved up quite a bit seance the season started. If I can't afford the car I will not race untill I get the money.
So, what are we supposed to bring tonight? I haven't been on in about 2 weeks and will be very rusty, but look forward to messing around a bit.
I have no clue. I have been working on the house all weekend and just got on line. I am thinking we should test the max tune GTR spec V on race softs (for a fuel and tire ware series). Bring every RUF with an oil chhanged.
We can also do some random PP races on a spec tire with some changing up of the tracks.
I also want to try the Miata at the higher PP we tested the other night. This is basicly the SM miatas we ran in season 1 but we raised the PP to around 500 or so (Air I dont remember what it was at the moment as you picked it)
AND
Lets all go get a
Toyota CALDINA GT-FOUR
Do an oil change and that is it for now. I have not driven it but lets try it stock and then we can add things as needed and see if we can make it something interesting. I am thinking that there are a bunch of 5 door hatch/wagons in the game that we should be able to make a series out of.
I think for the Miatas it was 494, the highest PP you can get an 89 Miata to.
The Calinda is around 425 pp, so if you happen to find a wagon in that range, bring it along.
Is the GTR, the GTR V-spec (R34) 1999? There are a crapload of GTR's in the game and a good number of them are V-specs.
In reply to aircooled:
No, it was the new GTR (R35 maybe?). I know we tried a test with it a while ago at Midfield and it was pretty fun, but I don't think fuel and tire wear were on.
I really liked the Miata's. Air I am betting you need to do an oil change and you may have some weight in your car. I seem to remember we added weight for the SM series to help with the handling and let us add more hp and much needed torques. I can get my NA to 514 pp. I ran it at that and killed a set of RS tires in 7-8 laps or about ten min of racing. So. This makes the a contender for a fuel and tire series with say a 15 min race length. I also like the max tune gtr but I have driven it quite a bit. It takes alot of patience to drive and is extremely easy to over drive.
The 484 races were also good fun. I think the CS tires equalize things very nicely. I just wish they did not squeal so much.
The Toyota wagon thing was fun as well. One of the best AWD cars out of the box that I have driven. The other Toyota ALTEZZA wagon I found was also a blast. RWD made it a drift machine.
The 90s Japanese cars were also fun. I really liked the FC I tried. It was a much better car than I thought it was going to be.
So it looks like we have a good number of choices for next season
How about any car with the word Midget in it?
But really, it seems like we have a good field of possibilities. It seems like we will do a tire wear series, so that only leaves two other races to determine.
We can test the Miata's again with tire wear and see if we like them.
If you have any RUF's, bring those.
How about a 400 pp Suzuki challenge? CM tires. Pick something up if you think of it.
Seems like a the Drivers Choice series would be a good option (not much to test).
Is this week just testing? If so I'll probably miss it. Gotta prep the real car for the tour this weekend.
And get my hair did.
Yes, only testing this week.
I may be out for Sunday. It's a travel day for me and I may not make it back fast enough.
I just wanted to note I have a pretty bitchin' 400pp Suzuki...
They are super cheap Keith, so go wild.

Can I assume that since you sold your wheels that you're going to try Street class?
And be sure to use enough product that wearing a helmet won't mess up your new do
