Seems as thought there are alot of ideas floating around but nothing definate.
1. Ferrari Challenge
2. FIA GT challenge
3. spec S2000
4. spec Beetle
5. spec MR2
6. 2.27 hp/weight
7. 423 PP
What to you guys think about LeMons/Chumpcar racing? 450PP, ugly/unique cars only (nothing cool!) on sport softs with tuning.
Could even split the races. 10 laps in one direction and 10 in reverse.
So far, the Bugs (tuning) for Wed are solid. I believe the MR2 is solid (tuning) for Sun.
The S2000 (non-tuning) looks to be a lock (probably a Wed series) and I think the other other non-tuning is currently favoring 423pp (probably Sun).
Chumpcar is interesting. A requirement for that would be a rolling start (add one lap) and during that rolling start everyone must smash into each other to get as much body damage on all the cars as possible .

In reply to matman3:
That is similar to what the 423 series is supposed to be. It is supposed to be fun, with the possibility of bonus points for the most random/unexpected/beige-ist cars.
One thing I do want to get / record, is the initial bug tune that Spool gave us (I think Dean still has it) so I can post that as a starting point.
The Bug is certainly a challenge to tune (they can be pretty terrible if not tuned right) and I want to give the "less time to tune" people a good starting point.

the 450 chump car series is identical to the 423 series. I would want alot less tire at that pp. Possibly comfort soft.
I still have spools bug tune.
REQUEST TO THE FOURMS ADMIN: If you can change the title of this thread to "GRM GT6 League - Future Series Ideas and Testing" it would be much appreciated.
Mid-season break is upon us again and I think it's time to get some ideas going around for what to race for next season or future seasons.
My SSS idea would be to race the Ferrari 458 Italia. I imagine Sport Medium tires would be used here?
For the Tuner side, I would like to see us have a go at a GT1 series after we did the JTC back in Season 4. For the GT1 series here are the regulations I propose...
- Grand Touring production car - e.g. Ferrari 458 Italia, Nissan GT-R Black Edition, MacLaren MP4-12, SRT Viper SRT10 ACR, &c
- RM Tires
- 600 HP Max
- Power Reduction Max to 90%
- 1362 kg minimum weight (based off of the 2.27 power to weight rule we tried our for Ferrari Challenge Testing)
- All adjustments and mods allowed except NOS
- Aero parts allowed
As for race distance 10 minutes would be too short for GT1, so maybe 2 15 minute races instead?
We ran a very similar series in GT5. We called it the GTE series and it had those cars plus the Audi R8 as well as an Aston Martin. It was good fun with a variety of cars.
