Wait you get a 5 second penalty for going off the track? Sorry but that is not "fun" that would be really aggravating. I mean you have already screwed up by going off track and then get hit with a penalty? Can that be turned off?
It considered it cutting the track (GT6 does this too). Don't worry, I'm turning it off for the next race.
what level do you have the bots running at now?
This looks really nice and is not priced to bad. Tempting. . .. (G29 Wheel)

85% And they are faster and more consistent than the humans.
Once I get re-employed, I'll be getting a new wheel. Either the T-150 or the G29.

That only works with the PC version.
It is now for PS4 as well.

Post the link. I'll see if I can get it working.
Yeah, I saw the g29 still wasn't working as of Christmas with out a work around. Please post if you found a work around

That is not good as I I advertised as a wheel for the ps4
Yes, but I think it is a Proj.Cars issue
The G29 is supported, it is the G27 not being supported that everyone is pissed about.

In reply to BradLTL:
So when attempting to pair my tablet to the PS4 in order to run the Crew Chief app, the PS4 correctly identifies the model of Samsung tablet.
After following all the pairing and "OK" to the codes it says:
Even though it refuses to pair, the Crew Chief apps begins receiving and accepting packets when the PCars game is started. However, it doesn't seem to send audio to the game, or at least I can't seem to make it work. (tablet screen shot)
A couple things....

To use voice commands, you need to assign a button to the 'Open radio channel' action. Start Project Cars and ensure your controller is plugged in and the app's UDP option is enabled. Click the Open radio channel action in the Assign buttons screen, then click the Assign button. Then press the controller button you want to assign to this action. It the 'Hold button while talking' checkbox is selected, you must hold the button down while talking and the app will process the voice command once the button's released.

Also check in the PCars options and make sure UDP is enabled. It says it above, but it is an important second step.
I don't have an Android tablet and there isn't an iOS so I can't actually test it myself.
Tonight's race has been postponed due to my only competitor going down to injury.
Will resume next week.
Interesting night of racing last night. Struggled to find a setup that was decent. The Brands Hatch setup was terrible. Managed a flyer in qualifying and landed outside front row. Didn't time my clutch drop right and jumped the green by a split second. Instant DSQ. Out of the race. Didn't know that would happen. Seems a bit harsh. No drive through penalty or anything. Note to self: Don't get too aggressive at the start.

My race night was interesting as well. It could be summarized as brilliance undone by mental mistakes. My pace in practice and qualifying was way off, like 4 seconds off. I had my car geared toward acceleration, so when the race started I needed to capitalize. I started dead last, but (unlike Argo) got a great start and jumped up through the field. I worked to position my car where I wouldn't be disrupted by the bots, and managed to work my way up to 5th in the opening couple laps. And then it all came apart (this seems to be a recurring theme of my races). I was over driving to try and keep pace with cars that were clearly faster, and managed to light up the tires and spin the car. When I recovered, I was dead last. I set off to try and reclaim some positions and turned in my fastest lap time in any session. I climbed back up to 9th before again over driving and looping the car. Ugh. Rinse, repeat. Again I managed to chase down another car, but in the process of the race I had worn off my front left tire giving me a lot of extra push in the right hand corners. To compensate, I over drove the car. Guess what happened next? Yea, my third spin of the race. With just 2 minutes left in the race and about a 30 second gap to the cars in front, I just lapped out the remaining time.
Last night was clearly my best race although the result doesn't really show it. It was setup to be the closest battle with Argo, our lap times were as close as they've been in any race so far (within 0.4 seconds). When we got to qualifying, I managed my best lap time to that point and was 8th on the grid. I watch Argo as he struggled to get a time in with slight mistakes and no clean laps. He ended up starting last. That gave me 5 positions to start the race. I planned on having another dynamite start (I'm claiming this as my trademark), and was hoping to get out as far in front of Argo as possible. I knew that he would leave me on the front straight, so getting distance early was going to be key to beating him.
As the race started I did get a good jump, picking up 3 positions to 5th behind a pack of 4. As the race settled in, I was able to pick up 2 more positions and move into 3rd. It was very contested and tight racing. I made a slight mistake and got moved back to 5th. I put my head down and pushed for a couple laps and got back to 3rd. The first 2 cars were gone. Keeping the pace up to stay in 3rd was killing my tires. As they gradually wore down, my braking points moved and I was sliding more and more in the corners. Eventually I made a mistake and spun. I recovered in 7th. I pushed hard again and managed to get back up to 5th. My tires were now becoming a significant issue. I knew that I was going to have to pit to get a fresh set.
I was planning on staying out 2 laps, when my pedals slipped off their stand and I could barely reach them. I struggled for the rest of that lap and jumped into the pits for tires and to reset my pedals. I came out in 12th. My only hope was that the bots would all pit as well and I would pick back up all the positions I lost. I came out nearly 15 seconds behind 11th. By the last lap I had cut that down to 6 seconds. But no one else pitted, so I finished 12th.
Oh well. The good news is that I am finally getting comfortable in the Merc. I've got a setup that is working, but I need to see if I can do something about tire wear.

Ugh. Argo's replay.
One of my worst races. Lousy start stupidity just got it off on the wrong foot. Normally I like the Catalunya circuit. I've run some really quick times there in a Lotus Elise. This turbo Ford was really unsuited to this track. A real bit*h to drive. No practice or setup time before the event didn't help, though I did manage to get into 6th during the extended pre race practice. I was sweating hard to do that and more laps were mistakes than clean. No clean lap in qualifying netted me last place starting. The Ford is heavier than the others, not as much downforce or grip, and lousy brakes. It's ace is that it is a rocket in a straight line. This circuit did not suit that. The boost comes on with a bang and will break the tires loose all the way through third gear. Off boost it has nothing. The on-off throttle between corners nature of this track meant no power between corners and the boost would come in hard just as you let off for the next turn. In the long sweepers, the boost would suddenly arrive mid corner and force feathering off the throttle or short shifting. I also had left the brake cooling ducts closed too far and the front brakes would overheat after one hard lap, leaving me nothing at the next corner. The driver was not qualified to handle this. Keeping the back end of the car behind the front end was a challenge. A challenge that I failed at and had to pit twice for suspension damage after hitting immovable objects. At least I always had fresh tires.
Oh well, on to Spa which is a track that should suit the manic turbo. This time I will practice and work out a setup...
New toys to play with, some contenders for Series 2...

Spa is a much better track for the Ford RS. Able to run 2:33's on full tanks. Have a nice predictable setup.
Argo, take a few laps using the MB with my setup. I need to know if I've tuned myself out into left field or if it is the driver (probably). The car feels ok, except it has some mid-corner push which causes me to lose a lot of speed relative to the bots.
Last night was an interesting race. I expect a bit of contact with the bots, but I straight up got shanked in the side at the end of the Camel straight on the first lap. I had a good start (as has become my trademark) and managed to get about mid-pack from my dead last starting position. Then I got hit on the front by a bot, that turned me sideways where Argo got perfect shot on my right side.
You can see the whole incident in the replay. By the time I recover, I've resumed in an appropriate position for my lap times... last. From that point, my race was boring until the last 6-7 minutes. I noticed on the split times that Argo (who had run off and left me) was suddenly back just 1 position in front of me with a gap of about 9 seconds. I tried to push my pace, but I didn't really have it last night. Nonetheless, I was cutting off small chunks of time from him. I didn't know if his tires were gone, or if he had an issue or what. I closed the gap to just over 5 seconds with 5 minutes left in the race. Cutting 1 second a minute seemed like a reasonable goal. I just tried to run clean and consistent and hoped whatever issue he was fighting continued. About a half a lap later, I've got him in sight... just in time to watch him lose control and slam into a barrier. Thank you very much, I will take your position. I literally cruised home after that. In fact, rather than run an extra lap, I slowed on old starting line straight to let time expire before finishing.
Despite being 7 seconds slower on lap time, I managed to finish higher than Argo. I guess that counts as a moral victory.
