Not that I'm lacking for things to do these days, but I thought I would put out a feeler to gauge interest in a GTSport series hosted here. We're currently running a Project Cars series, but it isn't as popular and has quite a learning curve, so it can be intimidating to get going. Add to that I've just setup my oldest with a wheel and GTSport for him to get going at, and I might be able to swing a second series.
Any interest?
As I mentioned the other night I've been playing more GTS lately with some people from another forum and it's been fun, but it's REALLY hard to adjust between the two games. I'm fine with giving it a shot but would say that it needs to be one or the other. The downside is that Spool might return and who wants that guy around?
I have the game already. I need to figure out how to up the steering ratio on my g29. I can not figure it out how to do it.
For me it depends on the time and place.
I like crashing in . . Er I mean racing Spool.

What time and place works?
I might be up for it. Have the game, but haven't played it more than 5 minutes since I got a wheel. Depends on the schedule. I doubt I'll be able to do this and PC2 series at the same time.
So are you going to be racing or your son? I think your son might be the ringer here.
I am actually excited for this. PC 2 is great. Yes it is hard to learn and I can see people getting frustrated with it. I am up for a new challenge.
Someone needs to find a cheat code for in game credits so we can get to testing cars and tuning.

Both probably. I told him that he had to get better first. He still learning the basics really. He's got the trash talking down though.

Err, what did we do before with GT5 and 6? Sunday nights at 8 ET?
The Sunday nights I hosted. That was fun. It started as a test and tune for the Wednesday series but took on a life of its own.

You have to download the logitech software to your laptop or PC. Then, hook up your G29 to said device, follow the directions. I had both a G27 and G29 for GT5, 6 and Sport. Now use a T300. Hope this helps.

I'm part of a group that has been running various series for the last couple of years on Sport. We just finished a gokart series. We've had an F1 series, N400, N200(won this), 100hp series, etc... Each series lasts between 8 to 10 races, once a week. Right now we're prepping for another series and are testing cars to do a Car1 .vs. Car2. They have to be within 1 second of lap time so that they're competitive.
Look for Obi-wan, Kenndawg or vladha. There's typically a link at Readyornotracing.com, which links to gtplanet.
Ok back in GT6 there was a way to change the steering ratio by holding a button and then selecting circle square X or triangle. Does this work on the G 29 in GT Sport and if so what are/were the button commands. I don’t remember them.

I am on a ps4
As noted in my previous post there was a key sequence for this on the ps3 with the G27. I am hoping that it was carried over to the G29.

It does not. You have to hook up your G29 to your pc/laptop to make the changes. Now, with the T150 and T300, you can change the steering ratio by hitting a combonation of buttons... this is for GTSport. GTSport doesn't recognize the T-series wheel, so you have to manually change the ratio.I have to do this at every race start, and when coming out of the pits from a tire or gas change. I'm so used to doing it, don't even think about it anymore. PS4 and GTSport is different than what we could do on the PS3 and GT6.
I am going to have to mess with it some more. There are some really cool tracks that I miss in GTS.
I'm a controller user because I'm too cheap to buy a wheel.
