Got it on the Steam download sale. Anyone else still play?
Moved on to GTA5 recently on the Xbox.
That said...there are some seriously bad ass mods for GTA 4. Check them out. I've seen screenshots that look like glossy magazine photos. The detail in the graphics is that good.
btw - When you play tell Cousin Roman I'll call him soon and for him to stop leaving messages.
Yeah, I quit playing that stupid game because of stupid roman and his stupid phone calls. And all the other E36 M3 that was broken with it.
I just got the "Porsche" WEEEEEEEEEE
The Graphic Artists in these games do a really good job of blending designs from multiple cars in the same class to come up with the cars in the game.
Like that one. I see 911, Evora, and TVR.
I've always wanted to try the PC version. As for consoles, my ps3 went into hiding after I realized its far easier to transfer HDDs when an xbox dies vs ps3.
What are the requirements to run GTAIV on PC?
In reply to 1kris06:
I am running a Steam download on a Toshiba laptop with an Intel I5k processor using Intell 4000 integrated graphics.
Had to go medium on all the quality settings and it runs fine. Windows 8.1
It does take a little work to get it to work setting compatibility mode and the like.
Do this first and then if that doesn't get it to work on Windows 8.1 then do this.
I would read both before you start the download and install.
