Time to think outside of the box....I managed to park a titan upside down on Maze Bank last night without it exploding.....although I couldn't get back in it.

Anyone else have issues with the game glitching out when you first started playing? I had to go through the intro mission 3 times to get through it without it messing up. My NES is more reliable.

Yeah, I'm starting to wonder what a tank parked in a train would look like. I've also seen a bunch of BMX stunting, and that looks fun. And some other ideas.

I never did, I don't think- but that was a year and a half ago.

Hate to say it, but it sounds like your console might be giving signs of dying. Random crashes seem to be a pre-cursor. If you can, take it apart and clean it. Make sure it stays cool, etc.

Sing or multi-player? Multi-player was a mess when the game came out, but it shouldn't be now. Single player shouldn't be crashing at all. Esp this far down the line.

It better not be dying. I bought it from another GRM'er last year used, but it seemed to work fine when I bought it. Lately, it takes me about 5 minutes to connect to Live and everything just goes super slow. I have no idea.

They didn't say what year though.....

I installed the entire game (both discs) on my HD, and now it plays a little bit better. Still tries to lock up during missions, or when I do something for the first time, but after that it's fine. I'm trying to play through the solo campaign before I dive into the online portion of the game.

And no one told me you could get a dog in the game! My real life dog was looking at me all funny when that happened.

You have to split up the saves between a the HD and a memory stick.

I can't remember exactly how that works, but it causes issues if you don't.

Good to know. My Xbox actually has the internal 4GB flash memory, so I'll try saving it to there and hopefully that will help.

So, I moved around some data on my 360, and the game still freezes from time to time, but has gotten a lot better. I am no stranger to the GTA series (I own just about all of them) and this game has blown me away so far. I played it for a few hours on Saturday to the point in which I felt like a complete scumbag and had to disconnect from it.

You're not doing it right then.....you must tap into your primal violent inner self. Randomly killing your friends is always a good start. Other than that, you could just do what I do....lately I've been trying to take speed boats up waterfalls and various other places it shouldn't go.

Yeah, I was having fun with an ATV out in the middle of nowhere for a while. I also tried blocking some train tracks with an El Camino-style vehicle, and hilarity ensued when the game couldn't figure out what to do with the car/truck once the train came. It merged with a traffic light pole! And then there was the time I took the stairs... in a station wagon...

Also, the glitches I've been experiencing are pretty funny. From time to time, I would go on a Franklin mission and the people that I have to drive around would hover standing up next to the vehicle while I drove to the destination.

I enjoy driving the submarine in the lakes... and pools.
