Sounds like I'm missing out

Sort of. Between insidious little fails, stupid server glitches and wtf moments, where was a lot of swearing. For instance, I've never seen a bus catch fire standing still before.

That and just standing in the open at all is impossible now. If you don't use cover at all times you're done. It takes about three hits from a cop to kill you.

You think that was bad, wait until you raid Merryweather to steal the Valkyrie chopper in the setup for The Humane Labs Raid.......there's 5-6 dickweeds in there with heavy snipers. The group I did it with failed 5-6 times before I solved the problem and we were successful. Even an armored Kuruma wasn't the answer to that one.

For the record, the Valkyrie is epic with its undernose cannon and door guns. 1 person flys the damn thing and 3 people operate guns.

So... heavy snipers can punch the Kuruma? That's baaaad.

I have a feeling I'm going to miss out on this update. My system froze up on the same spot both times I tried to play the Fleeca job.

That's generally not a good sign.

Update froze my unit up and went to black screen. Button on both the remote and the console did nothing. Waited twenty min with no joy so I un pluged it. Re start and all my system settings have been cleaned out. The unit has been reset to like new. I had to re set up all my settings and re install things. I got lucky and backed up all my game saves last week so no real harm there.

What a pita. I would have been a raving lunatic if I had not backed up things last week.

Just a bit of advise for those doing the update backup your game saves first.

When was the last time you.tried to do it? The servers have been a lot better today.

Rob made it in, and was part of the late group last night. On my save profile, prison heist is DONE!!! Greg and I cleared the prison, Rob was on chopper duty, and Fink flew ze plane.

We discovered that fighter jets disappear as soon as the armored truck leaves the prison.

I'll help everyone else involved in it to get the setups done for the prison heist so we have a bunch of heist finales to run. I'm also ready to setup The Humane Labs Heist.

Oh, also......we evidently get an additional 100k for each "new" heist finale we take part in. ;-)

Nice. So- it pays to get out of the prison as fast as humanly possible. I'll remember that.

Combat MG. It was pretty berkeleying efficient when I went last night.

Reload before you run out of bullets in your mag or clip. Speeds the process up quite a bit.

And circling the plane around the helicopter works well. Especially since you can out turn the jet. Get in about a 100yds off his tail and wait for the missle to take him down. I only had to evade a missle from a jet one time, and that was before I started my circling.

What worked out well was having one person cover the other while they moved up or put on more body armor.

I just made sure I was lead as the guard- since A- I'm DEFINITELY more heavily armed than the prisoner and B- I'm probably a good bit faster. I managed to take out 38 guards/noose in a little under 5min shooting my way out of there.

Have the plane chase the fighter jet and let the chopper be the wing man. Hell, if the plane chases the fighter, you don't even need to shot it down.

prison done, lab, done. Goddamn heavy insurgent goddamn!

You guys are all on at the wrong time! Trying to run these heists with the great un-washed (most under level 50) is frustrating!

Yeah, I'm sorry. I'll be on tonight, and I do not have to work, so I'm ready to giv'er. I know I still have a humane labs to do, Yamaha is on series a....

I finally got the call from Lester for Series A Funding about 10min before Tom had to leave for work.
