GTA V

I think i finally got my connection issues fixed. It actually let me stay online for over an hour before kicking me for an "unkown network error"

I haven't found anything recent in google regarding this problem, but resetting my DNS and changing from EVERY port being open to ONLY the ones GTA wants has drastically reduced my download speeds but enabled me to play online for more than 10 minutes at a time. Considering how long it takes to load an online session, I'm finally spending more time playing than staring at loading screens.

Wish I could help. No sooner did I post saying it was working again, that it decided not to. Haven't been getting any response from rockstar either about any problems.

Do you have an external hdd hooked up by chance? I noticed it ran better on my xbox when I moved it from external to internal storage..

So I saw on Facebook the Youga Classic is now available. You next gen guys get all the cool stuff.

We don't play much anymore. Rockstar made it too hard to play without a seriously dedicated crew, and we're too spread out. I haven't been on since bikers.

I have a ps3 slim. Still no luck. All M other games work fine so it has to be a issue with the game.

Rockstars servers are notoriously bad. And with them basically abandoning previous generation for content, its no real surprise.

I have read repeatedly that March 6 is the deadline for you to transfer your old PS3/360 profiles for GTAV to next gen (PS4/ONE/PC), I didnt pull the trigger for PC because the game was still $60 on Steam.

Right now GTAV is on sale 50% off through February 21st.

A buddy and I took the plunge so we can transfer our profiles to PC. I don't think either of us have much of a clue about multiplayer on PC but just wanted to give anyone else a heads up on the sale if you were on the fence.

I dont even know that I will play it that much because I invested a lot of time before. But it should be at least a little refreshing to have access to all the latest content now.
