Actually, that's what the girls on the epilepsy forum said. Hell, I wouldn't have remembered.

On one hand Z31 is far better set up for the long haul- he's made a lot of smart decisions both financially and life-wise. On the other hand- I have the kind of time to put into stuff like....beating GTA V twice in a week. I'd give the edge to him. I generally wake up in the morning and think I'm a retard.
Mainly just jealous I haven't been able to put in the time on the game I want to. Although I think I'm closing in on finishing the "main storyline"
I'm an obsessive gamer like that. I finish games quickly, if they hold my interest. It's been known to get in the way of social activities and eating and sleep more than once. Not sure it's a positive attribute, but that's how I roll.

When I was younger I was this man.
Now I have a kid with another on the way and a wife who requires sexual relations even after a game like GTAV comes out. Let's not even talk about work. If we're not talking about work let's not talk about owning a home that requires maintenance or those big family trips to CostCo. Big exciting trips to CostCo. I think we fed the kid lunch from all the free samples while we shopped. Made some exciting purchases (Bathroom heater w/ REMOTE) while he ate some kind of chunky indian soup that was oddly like chili and a handful of hummus washed down with 4 or 5 cups of free sample smoothie.
I have to play GTAV at night when everyone else is asleep. Good thing I sold my Miata so I wouldn't be distracted with RL (real world) type fun or I'd never get anything GTAV done.

I have the distinct advantage where my kid came along and I became a stay at home. I'm extremely efficient when it comes to domestic duties... and I live in an apt. I do all the crap I need to do during the day, usually as soon as I get up, and spend the rest of the day screwing around. Wife comes home, we eat, she puts him to bed, and so on.
Another good one with trevor......I switched to him and he tossed a guy in front of passing car. Then said, "Good thing he believed in the afterlife"
JohnnyT just joined the GRM crew- he's legit. And he's on here (he has that Silver Z06 in the build threads.)

I live the same thing, but I make time for my important hobbies. (Video gaming is no longer one of them). We're up stupid early, get everything ready, and SWMBO takes kiddo to care when she goes to work. I get about 45 minutes to myself to get ready for work. When the SAAB was here, I worked on it. Now that the weather is E36 M3, I'll either do a small project in the garage, or work on a model car/plane. Off to work, then home where we do the family time/dinner/bedtime thing. Usually followed by household chores. Friday nights are date nights, we'll even leave the house a complete E36 M3hole just to spend time with each other. Weekends we plan out, usually one day for family fun (like 2 days ago, we went to the Oregon Musuem of Science & Industry, had dinner at Veggie Grill, then went to Grandma's) and one day for household chores/football. SWMBO does the heavy-lift grocery shopping, and it's exactly once a week. Your ingredient missed the list? Tough cookies, wait until next Wednesday. I do the emergency runs/cat stuff/other errands on lunch breaks during the week.
We have a 20 month old, and a 6-week old preemie, and I managed to rehab the SAAB, run an autocross, work on the Javelin, and screw off with some models this month. Oh, and read a bunch of books and a GRM. I'll admit, not having cable TV helps out a LOT.

That's the other part. Games right now are my jam. It's my escape. So- I do what I have to do. I've skipped a LOT of things for this. It will go away next month when the theater gig fires up again.

Crap! Every time I switch to him, he's just waking up in a different spot, drunk and smashing a bottle..

You're missing some real gems. He's frickin hilarious.

Nothing wrong with that at all. Last winter video gaming was my thing. I played Forza4 like a religion. There's just nothing that interests me right now so I sold all my gaming stuff. I also used to do Warhammer (all sold), slot cars (in attic waiting for Jav Jr to get old enough), go-kart (sold), and CCG's (sold... mostly). I was pointing out that you can make time for a hobby, not what that hobby should be. FWIW, if GTAV came out for PC I'd buy it.

Nah, I wasn't being disparaging at all. Gamings always been a huge part of my life, and I hope to pass it on to the mini-me at some point. I've whittled down what I do a considerable amount from the past.... different strokes is all. Plus I'm a gaming hoarder and still have stuff from WAY back. Slot cars are on the list for mini-mndsm, as well as hot wheels tracks. I'm still determined to do a 3 story drop.
I got mine Saturday. Special Edition. Played a total of about 5 hours on Saturday and haven't touched it since. Wife's on bedrest and we have our crazy 3 yo, so I am trying to be Responsible Brian. So far I really like it. I'm just at the mission where we're trying to get everything together to hit the Jewelry Store. What advice can you guys give me for investing and earning more money? I haven't gotten the helicopter and played "shoot down the jumbo jets to turn the markets" yet. LOL
As has been said- save your cash, and don't do any of the assassination missions til you get paid for the last heist. You'll know when that is. The guide is elsewhere in this thread. I've not had caffeine yet- so i can't find it.
Conquest, take advantage of the stock market. Watch the way it changes in response to your activities. The radio will also give accurate accounts as to whats going on.
For instance, blowing tons of E36 M3 up may effect the insurance companies, towing, or vehicle repair shops.
Mndsm. Blowing E36 M3 up online tonight?
I'll be on at 2:30. Doubt you need ammo. Its probably sitting on every street corner. Haven't played multiplayer yet, though.
What I did do was download some Steve Winwood songs onto the computer after hearing him over and over already.
Conquest, make sure you take advantage of Michael's 'special ability' during the heist. Maybe even get it as close to 100% as you can before hand.
I was able to grab everything without using the special ability.. I always forget the special abilities. I didn't use franklins on the bike either.
I just completed the first Trevor missions. This guys story arc amps the strange up to 11 on this game.
