Tried to go online on the PS3, and was only able to build a character...it dumped me back into single player after telling me online was down.

Will give it a go again later on!

Got the xbawks, but I'm going full xbone, so I figured I wanted GTA for PS3 as well as GT6 when it comes out.

I wouldn't bother today. I've been trying on and off, I can't even get past the beginning tutorial before I get punted back out.

I'm not surprised. Joining a pub match in GTA IV basically had you getting ganked before you could even move, and now that you get money from the folks you ice if they have it?

I have a feeling my games are going to be invite only or friends only.

Well, after waiting an hour and a half for the first race to load, I finally gave up.

I had to start it invite only just to see it run, would not load a random.

Edit: annnnnnnd, it wont load the first race you have to do and kicked me off.

Servers are seriously overloaded on PS3. I'd say give it a couple of days. Solo only doesn't even work right now.

Yup, I really shouldn't be touching it until Thursday night anyways.

Problem is, guys that HAVE gotten through and are playing online, now have leveled up enough to have machine guns and sniper rifles and safe houses and fast cars with bullet-proof tires. Not gonna be fun when you finally get on...

Which is why I'll probably give it a week or so to settle down fully. I'm away from a decent internet connection this weekend anyhow.
