GTA V

I hope it's ok that I had a couple buddies join the club so we could get some things rollin', doing jobs and what not (bullizofficial and amoosenamedhank). After getting shot up trying to buy new clothes in the tutorial, then getting ran over twice after respawning, we headed out to Blaine County which is MUCH more chill away from the heat and chaos.

I found the way to make your own lobby too, but needless to say I'm already looking forward to having a more defined lobby with crew members then having a petty shootout.

OH, and you can deposit your money using the browser instead of trying to track down the nearest ATM. Highly recommended to just dump everything you got in the bank since purchases will come from your bank account.

Yeah, I dump as soon as I rob the store. I think i've robbed most of the stores on the map by now.

EDIT- I noticed moose joined. Haven't seen that guy around in forever.

If there's any more, and for any one else that may want to know - robbing the stores with a mask, then removing it before the cops show will greatly reduce your wanted level. Things tend to get a little spicy if you shoot the store clerk and can become a little frustrating trying to get rid of choppers with just a pistol.

Psh, I hit the dirt as soon as the stars ping. REALLY easy to dump cops off the side of a mountain- but I like the mask idea. My toon looks like hell- I didn't really care for the customization system. Though... I do have the "GRMV" crew logo on my sweater.

Can you be part of more than one crew? I don't think you could before. I don't want to ditch T314, u GRMV would be fun, too.

By 8, everything was working well for me.

i don't know if you can. There's only one way to find out- I suppose.

That's what I did too, until I shot a clerk and got an instant 3 stars for a heli lol

I'm not a fan of the character creator either. Can't change your height or your body size are the two things that bugged me the most.

Yes, I did find in the crew tab of the start menu that you can have multiple crews (I want to say up to 5?). I'm not exactly sure how the game implements it yet but I know that's an available option.

Probably tags you as one and allows interaction with all. That would be nice. I'm torn between prepping for removing the Ranger's engine and playing. Hell, I don't even have a new engine yet. It can wait...

That could be it. I haven't tested this yet but assuming it works, joining more than one crew will give you a 10% bonus for each additional crew you're with - so, 3 crews = 30% RP bonus in theory.

Here's a pointless thing to try. Go up the cable car to the top of the mountain, grab the parachute and a dirtbike. Hit the jump off of the mountain side and see how far you can make it by using the parachute! I made it to the eastern side of large-ish peninsula off of the North West coast near the Paleto Forest.

Tried to get on last night and was stuck waiting with a pack of other dudes. F it. I'll try again over the weekend or something.

Once you're past the first race- it's gravy. It's just getting that race.

I did that and landed on a sailboat off of the beach by Michael's shrink......didn't quite make the Pier like I wanted.

I haven't even attempted to get online running, I've been too busy finishing the single player and started franklin's assassination missions so I can buy ERRYTHUNG

Exactly. It took me about 8 times rebooting the game. Each task/job/race/etc is downloaded and when a gajillion katrillion people are trying to download it at the same time, the response isn't good, so it locks up. If you don't get a match within the first minute, reboot the game. Keep in mind when you do that, press a on the loading screen so it loads multiplayer, not singleplayer!

I've tried 15 times. I'm running out of patience for a game that was certified as good to go over a month ago. They even delayed online play two weeks to try and get ready, and it's not. Now, you have people that have been on for two days now, and they have fast cars with armor and bullet-proof tires, and far more firepower than I'll have with my little pistol. I'm not gonna play a game where I'm just a clay pigeon for guys at level 50.

fink- you can lock out other guys- there is a passive mode where it's PC toons only. Give you time to level up without getting griefed constantly.

So is there a GRM "crew" for PS3? I'll blow stuff up with you guys.

Same crew as it is for Xbox. Not sure how the ps3 parses that.

Last night I was tooling around in Sandy Shores when a robbery was committed by the Lost MC. I responded by chasing them down in the modded Veyron, blasting the driver's side tires off their berking meth van, and then held court in the streets with the minigun when the biker reinforcements arrived.

E36 M3 was therapeutic.

On a related note, I hate how similar the white dresser civilian bikes look to the Highway Patrol ones...they're way too hard to tell apart when you're bearing down on them at full speed in Trevor's pickup.

On the plus side, Trevor's got a cop bike in the lockup now.
