Yeah, didn't get into it. Mainly because it was at my brothers house and I only played for like 15 mins or so. LOL

Can't do dat. You heard the 2 year old come in to see me after a few minutes of GTA4. Could you imagine trying to get immersed in a game like that? Can't do it anymore. Have to have games where I can complete a short mission or just start blowing stuff up and can then turn it off in a moments notice when I'm needed. LOL
The gameplay trailer has me looking forward to September. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-xHcvug3WI
I changed my preorder to the regular edition, though. I did feel kind of dumb about paying 90 extra dollars for the bank bag and couple DLC things I wanted.
Hopefully there's a season pass or something.
I ordered the $80 Special Edition with some of the DLC stuff. Actually my mom called me and gave me her cc # so I could order them for me and my brother. I have an XBox and he has a PS3. I COULD get it for PS3 so we can play together... But I'm an XBox fanboi...
EDIT: Will be our Christmas presents. I don't rely on mommy to buy me games usually. LOL
Good call, I totally forgot about the special edition. I think I will switch that preorder one more time.
Just a little over six weeks away! I just traded a bunch of old games into GS and paid off my special edition copy.
I was playing TBOGT today and had completely forgotten about one of my favorite weapons...the automatic shotgun with explosive shells.
I hope that makes it into the new GTA.
You can always order whichever edition you want and change it down the line. Either way. Price up or down, so there ya go. I ordered I think the $80 edition.
Yeah, I know, we just had other errands to run in town, and since we are about 25 miles away, we don't always get over there.
It felt good to clean some old games out and get a little something back for it. I'm done selling little crap on CL.
Just pre-ordered! I had a $50 Gamestop giftcard, so went ahead and sprung for the special edition. Can't wait!!!!!!
I cant wait a lot worse than most of you.
I preordered on December 4th 2012. I'm also 21 next week, have no classes Friday, and don't have any Thursday I need to show up for. The cable modem has already been moved to behind the TV to hardwire the internet for minimal latency.
Its gonna be a long, awesome, weekend of fresh, drunk, high definition crime simulation.
I have been telling myself i can wait till christmas and ask my brothers to get it for me.
But I don't know if that's gonna work.
Tuesday morning will be hell for me.
I'm going to pick up the game right after I get off of work at midnight, then somehow attempt to get up at 6am for class.
I "may" fire the game up upon arrival at the house and download the DLC...and "maybe" take it for a spin...
Is anyone else in GRM land picking this up on PS3?
The 360 is going up for sale next week to fund next gen Xbone idiocy.
If they're the same rumors I'm hearing...kind of...
Basically, they're going to allow you to purchase your old 360 games again on the Cloud for the Xbone. Its unlikely they'll allow you to port game progress over.
There's also rumors circulating that more than likely we'll see a graphically superior version of GTA V on the next-gen systems inside a year.

??? Is it not available for 360? I'll kill a motherberkeleyer. I had totally forgotten until a couple days ago that mama pre-ordered for meh burfday.
In reply to poopshovel:
No hooker murder is necessary, its initially ONLY going to be available on PS3 and 360.

Correct. As I read, theoretically it can be possible for a sfotware update in the future to include backwards compatibility.
WHEW. You've gotta think, the people at rockstar/microsoft were sitting in a meeting, and somebody said "If we make this exclusive to the new system, you're going to see GTA "for real" going down in GameStops across the country.
This couldn't come at a better time. I've been a bit of a mess lately. Nothing like finding a nice quiet rooftop from which to snipe people in the nuts/knee caps.
I spent an hour sniping some kid at the airport the other day. berkeleying helarious.
BANG
"UUUUGHHHH!"
BANG
"UUGH!"
I generally get annoyed by mulitplayer in most games unless you have a decent group to play with, but I'm really digging what multiplayer is shaping up to be for 5.
I wish it was online first thing too, but I guess it gives you some time to acclimate to the controls and such.
You'll need to log in to post.
