We want to add tracks and cars for Assetto Corsa to our 4 sims but we cannot use Content Manager, anybody know first hand of some mods that you recommend we can use? Got links to them? Thanks in advance. Edit: don't make me explain why we can't use Content Manager, just take my word for it
Well, you can certainly add tracks and cars without Content Manager, just drop them in the appropriate folders. Content Manager just makes it easier.
If you are talking about driving mods (e.g. dashboards etc), I am pretty sure most if not all of those can also be installed manually, it's just harder (most have instructions on what to do).
As far as a mod, that add things like CM? I don't know of any, and there may not be any since the basic version of CM is free and does installations.
Can you run CSP without Content Manager? I think this is possible but I haven't messed with it. If so, you can basically use all the mods, CM is just a much easier to deal with interface.
CM is not listed as one of the requirements.
I'm guessing the CM issue is licensing. I was wondering what game you were planning on running.
Yeah I don't bother using content manager to install mods even though I have it because I know which folders to drop the mod files in, mods will usually include instructions for manual installation.
