Thinking that if I'm going to upgrade my primary computer for impending gaming/sim/video, this is probably the week to do it.

Seems like video cards have gotten more available and prices saner, and assembling something is dandy. But I've got plenty of projects and if there are any deals on complete PCs, I'm all ears.

Anybody seen anything notable?

Just noticed the thread title probably reads more like a canoe than a sane query...

GPUs aren't seeing black friday deals.

But prices are at all time lows.

Gamers Nexus has lots of hot takes and believes all pre builts are the devil.

but their GPU and CPU roundups are solid

I haven't looked at prices lately but building vs prebuilt seem to have been similar in price for a while. I can put together a computer pretty cheaply but I spend a lot of time shopping deals since I am on my computer a lot of the day.

This is your friend for deals on components or prebuilts

I have used this for the last 4 out of 5 PCs and the other was one I got through work. Switch to New at the top.

As a non gamer, with a couple threads on updated my old broken hardware (not really worth fixing) I might be interested in someone's hand-me-downs...
