Hey all,

Some assembly required.
I figured out before buying it that the second gear problem is common and I'm pretty much planning on pulling the engine to replace a shift fork. Actually, that's what the PO started to do...but the project stalled.
It's going to need to be gone through fairly thoroughly...but I'm excited about the bike!
I'll put up some photos in the next few days when I go get the bike and bring it home!

Well...the forum was glitching when I posted and told me it had timed out. I'll do what I can to clean up this mess...
Those are some great bikes. They blow away the current Nighthawk. Dual discs up front. Anti-dive forks. etc, etc, etc. That was when Honda built a bike AND THEN priced it instead of building a bike down to a price.
I like the color scheme, I hope it survives in some variation. Very Captain America.

Funny that this paint scheme is my least favorite of the three. I feel like I ought to trade it for a blue one.

There is a virtually identical one of those about five blocks from my house. At least, there has been for about the last five years in front of a house that I think that's abandoned. It's one of the few Hondas I've liked. I'll swing by the house on the way to the daycare tomorrow and see if it's still there if you want me to.
Yeah...and let me know the address if it's there. I might have to leave one of these notes that I keep in my glove compartment that says "I want to buy this."
