1987 Connie 58k miles, mostly red with black lower fairing, two owners, small crack in one fairing and comes with a spare fairing but it needs painting. Asking price is $1k but I think the guy would take less.

They were a very good bike. Dated compared to today's bikes with regards to technology and abilities, but none the less, very capable and highly regarded by the fans of it.
However, it's also nearly 30 years old. Bikes as a general rule don't fair nearly as well as cars to the passage of time.
None the less, if I were looking for a sport touring type bike, I'd certainly go check out a one-grand Concours.
I did some research into them not too long ago. There is a list of common issues with them. It's not a long list but from what I saw they almost all have them. I just wish I could remember what was on the list.

I didn't get it.
The seller was honest when we talked on the phone and when I saw it. But it had been down a few times, of course from the PO, and had more damage than originally thought. Unknown maintenance history and at least 3 POs.
For the combo of reasons I passed.
