Anything to watch out for? Friend has one that he is looking to part with, may be able to put a '90 Miata as a partial trade on it. Of course, there would go the current basis of my '10 Challenge car. Still, I can see it being a better touring mount for the wife and I than the '06 WeeStrom that I am on now.
Well, the ignition issue has been taken care of already. Newer front tires at the end of last year's riding season. My WeeStrom tires lasted 18,000 on the rear, and 24,000 on the front. I don't expect this sort of mileage out of the heavier, more powerful bike, but I think that I am fairly easy on tires, all things being equal. It also has a custom sissy bar (better for the wife on the back). Bag liners, polished handlebar end weights, handlebar risers, and I am sure that I am forgetting a few other things. Bank will loan more than he will be asking (he mentioned trade-in value as the selling price).
