Spent the weekend astride a bunch of vintage machines. Reported here: Retrotours Classic Bike Sampler
Rocky start but ultimately can't wait to sign up again. Downside is I'm scouring the classifieds for a particular British bike now.

That Kawasaki W3 is a rare bike in the US, they never sold them here. They did sell the earlier W1 and W2 here up through 1969 or 1970; I still have my first bike, a 1968 W2SS. It's in the middle of a restoration I started about 25 years ago, I may have it done in another 25 years.
Sounds like a blast!
I would like to add a Benelli to my vintage Italian bike collection one day.
Glad to see you enjoyed the Norton and the XLCR (A hint on the name, say it like Excelsior, XL Cafe Racer)
A guy I ride with often has a XLCR, an 850 Commando and a Z1R. He says all the same thing you do.
Thanks for sharing the ride report!
