My friend Ron has 18 bikes, except for the ZRX and KZ-1000 they're all small bore Hondas. Like me he is easily bored.
This CB-450 is his #19 of last winter. He purchased a "$200 piece of crap" and went right through it. Stainless brake lines, paint etc. The seat cover came from a guy in Canada for $40. The frame is painted but for similar money he says he could have gotten it powdercoated.
One of these will be my next project.

That looks fairly stock except for the bars. They're not stock are they?
I don't think they are, but the European bars are only about 1-2" higher than these.
Nice bike! Those are aftermarket drag bars. I never cared for how 'straight' they are.
I wouldn't mind having a fo-fiddy myself, but after viewing another thread elsewhere I'm thinking XR650L.
But if I was gonna go fo-fiddy, I think I'd go for a CL (Scrambler).

They're not stock bars but I don't know what they are.

I installed bars like those I bought from Dime City.
I bought my 450 in college for $15 dollars. Wish I still had it
