I saw that old Formula Junior pic in the "Hotlinking" thread and got to thinking that a KZ1300 engine might be just the trick for such an application as it's already shaft drive and 120 claimed HP. Anyone know anything about them? What to look out for?
They're not that common, so if you punch a hole in the case you're SOL.
I would think a Bandit 1200 or a ZRX engine would be easier (cheaper) to come by, probably with a bigger aftermarket. Heck, I think even my old GPz-1100 engine would push that go kart around pretty good.
but it won't sound like a Six.
