I have a clone engine on a go kart. I've had two different (same type) carbs on it, and I've rebuilt one of them.
This is an off road kart that gets beat on pretty heavily, but no more than what it was built for. Anyway, it intermittently floods the carb to the point that gas pours out the bowl vent. I've messed with the float many times, but we can't get it to not do it. I've also adjusted the float to factory specs and set it lower in an attempt to solve the issue. So my question is two fold. One, does anyone know a fix for this? And two, is there a different kind of carb I can use on this engine that will work well? The kart is a Baja 150.
