Just got back from San Diego, hell of a town. I picked up up the front rim for my buell blastardo that I won on Ebay from the seller. My original rim had an offroad excursion with a curb and got bent. Sent it to my old man and he bent the suckers out at 14k lbs on the hydraulic press. The original rim holds pressure but took 1 oz to balance and will wobble a bit near the end or tire life. The new rim even came with a tire and front brake disc. I really need tires so I'm stoked on that.
When I'm getting ready to leave the guy mentions something about a set of fork tubes, mine got bent and one side has started to leak a bit. I got a set of forks for 20$, only issue is one of the fender mount bolts left its thread in the aluminum fork housing. Doesn't bother me. One of the forks also leaks, but I'm going to reseal and relube the forks anyways.
The blast has almost 3/4 of the parts to go back together. All I need now is a clutch and some maybe some engine parts depending on why the damn thing burns so much oil. Can't wait to do so riding in the rain!
