I found an 85 K100RS for sale that I am interested in. It was laid down and needs some cosmetic work as well as a front caliper due to it locking up.
It has 112k miles on it. Is there anything I should worry about with that many miles? Any common problems to look for?
I had an '86 K-100, not that many miles but I loved it. The lean to the bars may get tiresome after a while, I got Bar-Backs, adds an inch and a half.
Progressive springs, Kerker header with a Supertrapp, what's not to like?
112 seems like a lot of miles, but if it was maintained I wouldn't be afraid of it.
