Pretty stoked, it's a pearl white '12 ducati monster 796 with abs. It's got 2k on it and has some nice mods; a nice undertail kit, a shorai battery and some riznoma (spelling?) barend mirrors. I hope she lets me borrow it once in a while. I'll post some pics once I get my phone synced.

Color scheme matches the spyder pretty well too!

She gets all the cool toys. I'm jealous.

The red trellis frame finishes it nicely.

So with ABS, the front brake line runs under the tank?

Nice bike BTW

I sat on a couple of those at the dealer, they feel so right (not as good at the hyperstrada though).

To the abs control module just like in a car i think. Thanks for the compliments. To celebrate the new purchase my bike (tl1000r) blew a forkseal and pissed oil all over my front brakes. Stupid potholes. I've never rebuilt forks before so it'll be a learning experience, maybe a little thicker oil will improve them a bit.

Did you try teaching her?

My wife didnt do e36m3 when we met, now she is incredible. Got to free them from this bulle36m3 that society puts on them, they get trained to be ornamental, fragile, and afraid because that helps keep them powerless and subservient. Mine was super cool to begin with too, thats why she's my wife.

Better then you teaching her try sending her for Valentine's day to Harley's learn to ride for women. This way she's not mad at you or reserved if she need something clarified. http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US/Content/Pages/women-riders/landing.html

So, I've spent enough time borrowing the monster to give it a bit of a review. The first two rides, I'll be honest, I didnt like it much. I thought it was pretty uncomfortable and the power delivery wasn't very smooth, maybe a bit of tuning could help at low rpm. At low speeds it feels like it wants to fall in to corners too much. Then today I went for a long ride down the right roads and it came alive, it feels fantastic when ridden 7/10s and above, it handles berking incredible, just wants you to drag a knee in every corner. It's effortlessly fast, and is easy to get in the zone on. I really like it.

She's doing well on it, has done some miles and feels confident on it. I lowered it a bit (20mm) by installing the 696 monster rear upper shock mount. I wouldnt mind getting some sliders for it in case she tips over at low speeds on it, it'd be a shame to have it fall over and get damaged, and I think visually some rearsets would clean up the side profile, then some carbon stuff and maybe a ti exhaust. I think the TRR exhaust is pretty cool
