I'm putting new tires on my "93 Goldwing(25k) and figured I'll change pads at the same time. I'm considering organic pads for the rear( good solid feeling w/out lockup) and sintered metal pads for the fornts, for a more positive stop 'feeling'. Is there any reason I shouldn't? Or should I go sintered front and rear? Most of my braking is done with my fronts.

your brakes aren't linked on a 93?

No, they're not. I was just wondering if anyone had any real world experience with both types of pads. I hear the sintered pads will last longer and stop better once they break-in, but will be sucky until they do.
