I was working on a friend's SV650, doing a thermostat. We dropped the coolant to get at it. Anything special we need to do to burp the air out of the system? The radiator cap looks like the highest point when the bike is on the kick stand. I've only done air cooled before, so I don't want to leave any hot spots.
Fill it, wiggle the hoses and stuff to get air to move, run it with the cap off for a little while. That's all I've ever done for my watercooled stuff, seems to work fine.
That should do it. My K1100LT is notoriously annoying to burp, so what I do with that one is let it sit overnight with the cap off after running it for a few minutes and that'll usually take care of most of the remaining air.

Suzuki's normally have a small bleed screw under the t-stat or a small hose that lets fluid by pass so they auto burp if you fill slow.
If you have the screw remove it fill until it comes out the hole and jam the screw in.
